Cable for charging electric cars according to Mode 3 of the International Standard IEC 61851-1; this cable is used to connect a Type 2 electric car to a Type 3C charging station.
The cable is equipped at one end with a Type 2 female connector (VDE-AR-E 2623-2-2 - Mennekes) to be plugged into the vehicle's charging connector.
At the other end is the male connector Type 3C (EV Plug Alliance - Scame) to be plugged into the socket of the charging station.
The maximum power of this charging cable for electric cars is 22 kW three-phase (32A 400V), but the same cable can also be used for charging at lower power, even single-phase.
The cable is available in two lengths: 5 and 8 metres.
