Cable for charging electric cars according to Mode 3 of the International Standard IEC 61851-1; this cable is used to connect a Type 1 electric car to a Type 3C charging station.
The cable is equipped at one end with a Type 1 female connector (SAE J1772-2009 - Yazaki) to be plugged into the vehicle's charging connector.
At the other end is a Type 3C male connector (EV Plug Alliance - Scame) that must be attached to the appropriate socket of the electric vehicle charging station.
The maximum power of this charging cable for electric cars is 3.7 kW single-phase (16A 230V).
The cable is available in two lengths: 5 and 8 metres.
